Confidence and Self Esteem for Transition Year Students
Transition year presents students with a special oportunity to try out many new life experiences. In order to really benefit, it’s important that the students have an awareness and understanding of their Confidence and Self Esteem.
In this 10 week programme, transition year students will experience ways to improve self esteem and feel more confident. They will work both individually and in groups.
They will developn a new-found appreciation of themselves and what makes them unique.
The course includes:
- Meditation and relaxation techniques to show you how to manage stress.
- Team building games to add fun and at the same time, convey meaningful messages.
- Assertiveness techniques that show them the courage to say “No” when they want to.
- Journaling as an important way of learning to express what is going on within one’s self emotionally
- How to set goals for what you really want in life
- How to know what you really want
- How to listen to your self and honor it.
